Clothing Donations

New York Road Runners donates extra race premiums—including T-shirts, hats, and glassware—along with shoes, furniture, and exercise equipment to those in need. We’ve collaborated with several local organizations, from those that provide clothing to young athletes in underserved communities to those that offer support to children and adults battling chronic illnesses.

In fall 2017, we provided more than 5,800 items, including T-shirts, running shoes, water bottles, and drawstring backpacks, to Rising New York Road Runners schools in Texas and Florida, where students and their families were affected by hurricanes.

Now, we’re looking for even more ways to serve communities across the five boroughs. If you know of an organization or charity that could benefit from leftover race T-shirts, email clothingdonations@nyrr.org. Include specific criteria such as sizes and quantities in order to help us fulfill your request.
